Odometer still doesn't work but we tested the wires from the switch to the adapter and there is power, there is power after the adapter, then there is power all the way down the wire into the front dif but it won't click in. Does this conclude the AWD not working is not an electrical issue?

May or may not be an electrical issue, but if you have voltage to the front diff power wire, jump the brown(ground ) wire to another good ground such as the coil mount or frame. If the awd doesn't kick in with all 4 tires off the ground, then you may have a problem on the plastic roller cage that a lot of the front diff awd machines had. Several posts on this about updating to aluminum roller cages along with some using John Deere roll cages as replacements. If it is a cracked roller cage which many of them were, aftermarket ones are available other than installing another Polaris plastic roller cage. Here's one source.Polaris Sprague Carrier / Front Roller Cage : Polaris : RZR : RZR Accessories
