Polaris Outlaw 50 Power question

Anyone have one of these models and what did you do to get more power out of it. Right now it doesnt have enough power to cruis up very low incline hill.... I seen were you can remove a washer from the clutch belt housing area on a suzuki 50 but dont know about this model... any tricks or tips would be greatful.

Thanks

Think I'd check the belt and the clutches if the compression is between 115-155 psi as the manual quotes and you can rule out engine or carb problems. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Thank you, I did pull the spark plug and it was pretty black, will check on getting a jet kit. Is there any mods on the clutch? The compression is 148 at the moment, only 10 hours on the bike.

It's just not gonna be a powerful machine. It is a tiny motor with a cvt transmission after all. I'd do little things like pull the baffle out of the exhaust, open the airbox and a jet kit to account for the added air flow.

Did all that, I also have a TTR-50 bike and it's a 50cc and gets up and goes bone stock. Just thought there was a way to get the four stroke to wind out like the TTR-50.....

There are plenty of places online that offer performance parts that can help pick up and a bit more power and top end,but really help most in separating you from your money imo.Just my :twocents: when a child out grows one because of age or ability,it's cheaper just to move up in size.Maximum RPM - Performance parts for Mini ATVs Performance Exhaust Pipe Kits from ATV Parts & Accessories

It's just strange to have a new quad and has no power to pull itself up a ramp to the back of the truck? My grand kid doesn't like riding it because his electric power wheels jeep does just as good and costs 1/10th of the price... Why sell something like this or even put it out??? 50cc should not be made if they can't do any better than an electric toy... He's not even grown into it and it's against the age restriction to put a 6 year old on a 90cc is what it says on the sticker.
