Check out the camping area also. This place is the best riding I have found. There are extreme hills, clear creek crossings, lakes, rivers, great camping facilities, river floating, scuba diving, museums, hundreds of miles of trails and dirt roads. This area comprises of 625,000 acres in SE Oklahoma.

Looks like a great place... Where exactly did you camp and ride? Is there a map of the trails available?
|
You can get a map at Wal Mart in Broken Bow and the pass is $25 a year. We camped at beavers Bend state park, but there are several places to camp. This place is so big, I would not venture far without a map.

Yep, I just got back from the Honobia/ Three Rivers Area yesterday. We were ten miles South of Honobia,OK. (13 Wheelers) It only cost us 16 dollars(residents) and NOT TRYING to be picky but Okla. Wildlife Dept. says it is 725,000 acres. I have been there three times and really enjoy the camping/riding/fishing/hunting. ALL for 16.00 a year!! You can't beat it! Ride'em hard Polcat

Tom's not too bright climbing hills like that without a bucket on. One fall, one cracked skull is all it takes.

Actually, Tom wore the bucket for hill climbing. That one pic that he does not have it on, he had no intention of really climbing that hill, he was just messing with his wife.
And, I think Polcat is right, it is 725,000 acres. Polcat, We are camping Easter weekend, (Thursday-Sunday) and we will be riding near Broken Bow lake. Email me at gregsims01@excite.com if you want to ride with us. Greg |
