Please forgive me is I missed something, but I heard all these rumors some time ago and now I haven't heard anything, what happened, again please don’t go off on me if I’m missing something obvious , can anybody help me out. And just to get people to share there ideas, what would you all like to see in Polaris’ “Banshee killer”?

My vote for motor would have to be a 600 triple 2 stroke from one of their snowmobiles.

Where is the Banshee Killer you ask? Its in my backyard. Just yesterday I had my '99 500 scrambler over 80mph! Then we took it off the trailor & went riding. lol

Personally, if Polaris builds a machine to outperform the banshees, I don't think I could ride it through our trails. Scramblers are enough.

It is out there and it is called the DS 650. Forget the Banshee, you can already hop up the 400, maybe even a 500 Scrambler that will take the Yamy in the woods and in a drag race for about the first 150-200 foot mark. What we want is a ride that has lost some poundage with improved handeling. The 600 triple is way to heavy even in a snowmachine that is why they went to the 600, 700, and 800 twin (2 stroke). Now that is what you need a 500 or 600 twin with better handeling then you would not only a Banshee killer but a DS demolisher

Unfortunalty both Aaen performance and HPD claim the polaris stock output staft can not handle over 75 hp or you risk busting the shaft. On their super modified machines they use a snowmobile output shaft assembaly that has a 1 inch shaft as opposed to the 7/8 inch shaft on the stock atv unit.

The Banshee Killer is already out. Didn't you notice, they added Concentric Drive to the Trail Blazer?
