Got the proper diff today, seller was very good about a replacement. Didn't even want the other one back. Got it all back together, and could finally get the new radiator in. Ran out of time for a test ride, took a little bit to burp that cooling system. Hoping I got all the air. Lots of little bubbles. 2 fan cycles and no over heat light. Had it jacked up very high in the front.

Next on my list is full fluid change, front/rear diff and engine. Any special fluids for the front and rear diff? engine oil? If anyone could post up capacities and oil types would be great.

Front diff shows 5 ounces Angle Drive fluid(plain old 80/90 GL5 synthetic gear oil) but I usually could only drain and refill around 4 ounces or so.Front hubs Demand Drive Plus hub fluid.Fill at 12 o'clock position,turn to 3 or 4 and drain excess out. Transmission around 20 ounces Polaris AGL. Engine oil your preference,but synthetic. 0w40,5w40,5w50. Mobil1,Amsoil,Rotella T6 to name three of many oils around.Same thing on oil filters. OPT I did not want to clog the board up with another thread. Could you tell my why the rear brake would be stopping great with the hand brake, which is hydraulic, but barley catches with the mechanical foot brake?

Rear brake pedal needs to have enough pressure applied to the rear brake pads.As pads wear you have to keep the manual brake adjusted. To adjust the brake lever play/pressure you have to turn the outer screw(29) which takes up any slack and puts pressure on the manual brake pin(20) against the pads. The outer screw can freeze up over the years so be careful on this screw as it is expensive and can break off.If I remember correctly you have to turn it counter clock wise on adjustment (depends on year model). Back off a half a turn on the screw from there to release any pressure and then see how it stops using the foot brake.
