2007 Ranger 700EFI Valve adj ??

I am going to replace all fluids on my Ranger.. I notice a tapping noise, I thought the valves need adjusting. It appears that this vehicle has self adjusting valves?? It runs great and does not use oil. It is a work horse, I use it to plow about a mile of roadway in the winter , total miles 1600. Any other service suggestions based on age & mileage would be appreciated..I use Polaris 5-50 engine oil.. In winter the temperature can be from 5 degrees , summer usually no more than 75-80

Tapping noise is normal on the 700 because of the push rods and lifters.Your owners manual has a basic guide for service and shows all the areas to be addressed. If you don't have one, even better is the service manual as it shows the maintenance schedule also. These are just recommendations on miles/hrs to do service. Here's one that can show you what all to check and service.2007 Polaris Ranger 700 4X4 XP Service Manual PDF Download
