I'm no Bomb tech, which wire. 800

06 800 sportsman, fuel pump not running when I turn key on. Hoped it was a simple fuse, but no. Swapped the corroded fuse block to in-line marine fuses holders a while ago. Cleaned connections, ground, tried different battery too. No change, it turns over just fine but missing that 1 key ingredient....fuel.

Which wire goes to fuel pump? Tried with a schematic but couldn't figure it out. Want to try myself, then next step is dealer. So, thanks for any help.

Should be a small connector leading over to the left side(facing the front). Brown wire, violet(purple) and either Red/Black or Red/White wire.

Ok great, this is a zoomed in pic, these wires look like what you are explaining. It doesn't look it but one wire is slightly purple. So I can unplug it and check voltage when I turn key on correct? Then if there is voltage it's probably bad connector or pump. And this doesn't go thru the fuse block?? Maybe that's why I couldn't find it I was looking at wire from there on schematics.
Thanks OPT

Manual I have shows minimum of 7 volts. Won't let me copy and paste testing procedure. If you have the manual it's under fuel pump testing.

Good lord, I totally forgot I had downloaded the manual on an old tablet. Thanks for reminding me.

They're priceless when you really need one.. :)

Well still need the manual, it was for another bike I have.

So got home today, found the wires, voltage is .61 with key on. A little white on the contacts, cleaned a bit still nothing. Ran the code check and it shows 51, and 52 which are injectors. So what is this really telling me? Bad injectors or electrical gremlins?

I guess it's off to the shop, and to top it all off I have this thing with numbers. You know 13, 666 and a few others well of course my bike dies at 1666 miles. Jeez
Thanks again for all your help OPT. A true asset here.

So do I.. :) Wouldn't think the injectors as false codes can show up,but who knows. Sometimes best on efi machines to let Digital Wrench sort it out.

Well a little update.
Took to polaris dealer, Gator Sports in Labelle, FL.;) Anyway, the tech had to do some searching but found both the fuse blocks (or coil I guess) were corroded, had to replace it was an easy fix for him, not as bad on my wallet as a new fuel tank would have been so I was happy. A little over 200 was the damage.
Are these available from auto parts stores or strictly a Polaris part? I think they get more wet when I wash then when riding.

Can't find the post I read on this in the Rzr forum but the relays are the same as used in some GM autos. These fuse blocks were bad about shorting out especially if you play in the mud and water. Plenty of Delphi oem type blocks on ebay along with water resistant marine blocks fuse and relay holders.
