Rolled quad on it's side. Now what?
A couple of weeks ago I pulled over too far on the steep bank on a trail and rolled my Sportsman on it's side. It took about a minute to stand it it upright. It started and ran okay. Yesterday I finally got around to looking at the air filter. It was soaked with oil and there was about a cup of oil in the box. I cleaned up the oil with paper towels and carb cleaner spray. Then I cleaned the pre-filter and bought a new air filter. I know I'll need to add a little oil but is there anything else I need to check? Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't have hurt anything as this is a common thing to happen. When you roll one or turn one over oil in the tank goes to the top and out the tank vent line straight into the air box. Usually just replacing the filter if it gets soaked along with cleaning the prefilter is all you need to do. Just top off the oil and if you wish check the gear case and front diff levels if any oil has run out their vent lines.

Thanks OPT. It's been a long time since I tipped one over and couldn't remember having to do anything else besides topping off the oil. The air filter was solid black and I couldn't see any light through it.
The new part number for the air filter is 7082101 if anyone wants to know. It superseded an old part number.
