If mine I would shoot it with a shot gun.. Pull the black wire any way so the faulty device is defeated and won't cause stalling in reverse or limit in forward range like so many of them did.

Ok so I finally got the new armature plates put everything back together took it for a ride and the front tires don't spin they do in the air still tho but it sure does seem like the transfer case is engaging tho

When you say you checked the grounds what did you do? A lot of issues can be linked to a bad ground that "checks out". There are tons of YouTube videos on guys re-grounding the front hubs and the 4WD starts working again. I have 2 uncles with 325 Magnums with now 4WD. As soon as the weather breaks I'm bringing them to my shop to re-ground the hubs, as this seems to be the root of most the 4WD issues on these wheelers.

On these older ones you can do the awd grounding yourself.

Ok ill ground the wires like that and see what I get

Ok so I grounded the wires like it said the four brown wires and now I get no power to the switch at all

Is it possible you shorted something accidentally? This just isn't adding up...

Yeah I cut the wires sliced em together and nothing checked and no power I hate this machine lol
