Default 2007sportsman 450 ignition issue

I don't know where to look anymore on this , it has new starter and new battery , and I replaced key cylinder thinking that was issue ,
when I turn key to start it nothing happens
if I turn key to on position cluster gauges stay lit
but if I turn it to start cluster goes out
headlights won't come on
if I turn key between off and on headlights try to come on (almost like short in cylinder key switch ) but it's new & did this with old one
pull start only works if pod gauges are on
fan will no longer come on
starter is new I had 3 rides on it when this problem started
any advice appreciated ,thanks

When I say pull start only works if pod is on lit up , I mean if I turn key to start , to the spring loaded part it kills the pod , then pullstsart don't work , I have to turn key to off , then on to reset , then it will stay on and start w rope , it's just the start position kills cluster
