Default identifying after market part on Trail Boss 325

Anyone have any clue what this bracket/foot control is? It's on a 2000 Trial Boss 325. It looks like it's made to specifically fit on this frame. Spring loaded aluminum "lever" on the top, an adjustment bolt near the back with a spring, and what looks like a big foot peg?

Any clue?

Not anything that I've ever seen and we installed a lot of after market parts over the years. What piece of equipment it went to I haven't the foggiest idea..

Looks like the leftovers of what used to be the hand lift part of a plow set up. Seen many different ones mounted near the clutch like this.

You're probably right.. Not too much call for plows down here. Most we get is a slushy mess and a little ice for a couple days during some winters.
