2000 Trail Boss 325 Main wiring
have evrything hooked up except there is a brown wire coming out of harness that goes to bottom of ignition coil. Coming off of that is another brown wire with a female adapter on the end. Cannot figure out where this plugs in. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for the help. Apologize for late reply, was away on business. One more question. I completely drained all fluids from this bike. I can get it to try and start (have spark) but it will not get gas. Can I pour some gas into carb inlet line to help it along? Not sure why I couldn’t but your the expert. Thanks again

Not a good idea to drain carbs or fuel tanks as some people do as it just allows moisture to accumulate and carbs can jell up from ethanol fuel residue like the carb pictured here that another member posted.. Best to store with either Stabil 360,Marine Stabil,Startron, etc to protect tanks and carbs. You're probably going to have to take the the carb apart and at least cleaning the needle and seat and probably the jets also. My two cents is if you have to take a carb apart, rebuild it or you can end up like a lot of people on the forum that go back into carbs two or three times.Spray out all the openings with carb cleaner, replace the parts in this quality kit designed for it and that should solve the problem.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shindy-Carb...haAzc9&vxp=mtr To eliminate it being a fuel pump problem you can pull the fuel line from the carb and crank the engine over. Should be a steady or pulsing stream of fuel if the fuel pump is ok.
