Tires
Anybody out there have any experience mounting tires? Want tires and heard they are not bad to mount at home. Harbour Freight has a manual mounting machine. Just wondering, if I can save the 30 bucks per tire to mount them, I'll do it.

I heard that tire machine works very well.
I tried the bottle jack under my bumper trick, and it sucked. Got one off the bead after trying 3 times. Looked at the other 3 tires and said "F this." |
Dismounting and mounting tires with the harbor freight tire changer makes life easier. Watch several videos on YouTube too see if you are up to the task. The hardest part will be airing up to set the head. New tires can be difficult without a bead blaster, also known as a cheata tank. Goolgle atv tire mounting. I did my own when I got new wheels and even purchasing the tools for the job, I saved $20 over taking them to a tire store with the first use.

Someone in another thread said Walmart doesn't charge much to mount tires. I would look into that before buying a tire mounting tool.
