Default Carb boot? OEM? Aftermarket?

Doing some spring maintenance, noticed my carb boot cracking. Can’t complain, will be 6 years old in May.

Would an OEM boot be a better choice? What options exist?

59 bucks for oem at Partzilla. Maybe cheaper else where for oem parts. Plus a couple cheaper aftermarket ones. Choice is yours on this one.https://www.ebay.com/itm/INTAKE-MANI...FYsdjr&vxp=mtr

If I'm calculating this right($46.99 CAD = $36.99 USD) then that's cheaper than some of the after market ones. I think I'd go oem also for that price..

Put the new carb boot on today, gave the new one a treatment of Mothers rubber and vinyl.

Also swapped my pre-filter, paper filter wa still quite clean.

All set.

I don't think mine looked that good brand new. I have one small crack covered with Goop but need to check for more cracks. It's 10 years old so if I have to replace it I still got my money's worth out of it. I have a small hole on my pre-filter I keep forgetting about. I need to replace it. I think that's original too.

The carb boot cost me $46 from my local Polaris dealer, they were the best price around.

I cant remember what the pre-filter was, but it was not that pricey. Check online.
