2003 Polaris Magnum 330 2x4
Ok y’all, here it is: Bought this 2003 Polaris Magnum 2x4 for my son 3 years ago from his buddy. Kid wasn’t totally honest about the bike blowing CDI boxes until it blew one a few days after we got it. Before it blew, it was already running rough, sputtering and backfiring at times. Now, I parked it and bought him a new TRX 400 instead. So, this Polaris has set until now and I’m ready to dust it off and troubleshoot. Figured I would start with testing the stator and go from there. Any my suggestions on how to test and what to test? Thanks! Lexi |
Any ideas guys? |
You need a service manual to check it properly. It will have ohm and voltage specs for different parts of the electrical system. Without one you could still try to check for shorts and broken wires with a meter.

Is there a good place to secure one? I’ve seen the Haynes manual and Polaris sevice manual. I would like to get the best one. Thanks Frank! |

Lol! Awesome. Thanks! |
You're welcome. I'm glad I could help.
