Default 1996 explorer 400

Ok guys I'm new here first time poster first time poster. Right now I have a 2002 artic cat zr600 efi with 2000 miles I want to trade for a atv. I have this guy offering a 1996 polaris explorer 400 with 4600 miles really clean. I no nothing about atv or snowmobiles but my uncle bought the cat new and I got it off him and taken great care starts right up. I'm scared I'm trading a great running machine for something not worth as much I have to throw in 350 cash as well. The 4 wheeler comes with a plow as well. Were I live snowmobile are going cheap we get no snow.i haven't road my sled in 2 years. What's the polaris worth. What will I counter with these types of 4 wheeler good bad ugly?

See what it's worth at nada.com and don't pay a nickel more. It's 22 years old and parts get hard to find when they're that old. That could be why he's selling it. He should be paying you to trade him the Cat. The 400 2-stroke engines have a good amount of power, but are a bit more complicated and harder to work on than you might expect. One of my friends rode an Xplorer 400 for a long time, but not anymore.
