Polaris makes one that is narrower, its called an Ace, and it never really worked that well. The width and the suspension are what make it work so well. Make it narrower and you lose both of those. Handling, size, performace are as perfect as any off road machine I've ever owned. You do have to ride it where it will fit though.

They made an ace 900 that was 59 inches wide but this obviously has a lot more power. I remember watching a review of the RS1 on Dirt Trax Television, they really liked it too. With just one seat but you don't have to worry about elbow room without a passenger in there with you. All kinds of room. With those tires sticking out so much, I can imagine you'd get covered if you took it through a lot of mud. That's not really what it was meant for anyway.

With the open wheel design and narrow-ish body you'd never have to worry about your fenders scraping when you go between trees. You can see your front wheels and anything they clear the body will clear, as long as you're not skidding sideways.

Headed home, after two more days in the desert.

The RS1 has quickly become my go to choice for a personal use off road vehicle. If I'm going someplace by myself, I take the RS1.
