Cant say 100%, but it's an issue that needs taken care of sooner or later. I'd like to say yes, but cant be for sure. Since those wires are for charging, if they didnt fix the starting problem(and may not) if you get the starting problem fixed, sooner or later you will start having battery issues. I still feel start with the pdm and go from there.
