Get EBS for sure it is very needed on 700 lb atv's. The only difference is the engine but the 425 liquid is nice a very good motor you could not go wrong with it, but get EBS especially if you ride on hills.

I would talk to your local dealer. If they are straight shooters they will give you some good advice on what to do as well. It is a hard decision I know because I went through it to. Maybe you could ride one of each at the dealer to help you out some. My dealers lets me ride them around for as long as I need. Any test ride is better than nothing. I didn't ride the Sportsman 400 but new after having my Trail Boss that it was the one for me.

Thanks to all. I have talked to three different dealers in 3 different states and have found a 500 ho that is low enough price wise that I can convince my wife I need to have the ebs...how's that for sales. I should work for the dealers!
