Xpedition owners: will 26" titan 589s have a clearance problem?
#1
I am planning on purchasing 26"x9" titans for the front of my xpedition this fall, but want to make sure they will not interfer with my steering or cause suspension prob's. i think the floorboards set a little differently on the xp from the auto. atvs. so anyone running these? would i be better off to get 25" tires? thx for responses.

I think the 26's will fit to. I just put 2 washers
on each lug bolt on both fronts. that is a total of 16 washers. For an xpedition with the rear axle. the bigger the tires, helps out in the mud. I went from 25 stock tires, to 26 mudbugs, to 27 mudbugs. I also have from high lifter the progressive lift springs/adjustible cams. The more clearance the better for an xpedition....

The 26" 589s will fit w/o a lift, BUT they will rub the on the front at the right side tie rod end. I used 3 washers on the right side lugs (with a stock offset) and at 20psi or less the rubber boot stays intact. Also the 26s will rub the rear of the front fenders when the strut is compressed.
