Went riding this weekend. Had a great time. My Brother (98 Warrior) and I (Y2K Sportsman 500) We could only stay out in the morning, but we had fun anyway. The highlight was a freshly snow covered frozen pond. It was huge! We spent an hour and a half just buzzing around there doing donuts and powerslides. The AWD is much more stable and predictable slider with 4 rooster tails of snow flying from the mudrunners, but the Warrior pinned in 6th gear almost totally sideways is a blast too! Bigger rooster tails too, but only half as many. 8-)
Glenn. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. Hope you get some cool quad stuff under the tree! |
Glenn: Sure does sound like that was a lot of fun! I wish it was cold enough here to freeze the ponds. But, man watch out for the thin stuff! My son went out a couple of weeks ago with some of his buddy's riding in the snow up on the mountains, from the stories they told it made me somewhat jealous that I didn't get to go. Soon though I think I get my opportunity. Happy holidays!

We have about five inches of ice on the water so it should be no problem.
