Or my sons 50 I should say.

Ok, I noticed the other day that the front wheels were a little toed out, ok quite abit. So I proceed to block it up today and take the front wheels off to see what the problem was. Well first thing I notice is the wheel moves, not a bad bearing, but there is no lower bushing on the front A-Arm on one side!! Geez, guess someone was sleeping at the factory that day?

Ok what should I do, I think the bearing is ok even though it has been ridden on this way for awhile. I think I will hit my dealer up for the part as it should have been in there from the start. I should take it in and make them cover the labor too, but prob a bigger hassle since it is allready tore down.

Also, anyone have or know if anyone is making any accesories for the 50's yet. I need a front rock guard as the cheapie from the factory is broken allready too.

Thanks all

I too have a mini I bought for my son, hes got the 90. Have had a series of small problems with it nothing serious though. The coil mount cracked and lost ground so it kept dying usually when we were about 3 miles from home. This has caused the little guy to be leery of long rides. Just yesterday I was loading it in my truck and noticed that the bars were off to the left when you go straight. Asked junior what he had hit and he says nothing. Mostly the local dealer has been pretty good. Did give me a hard time about the end of the warrantee, I paid for the ride on the 8th of Nov. and didnt pick it up til the 23rd my sons birthday. Tried to say the warrantee started on the day I paid for the quad even though it never was delivered 2 weeks later. OK Ill stop whining. Good luck with you 50 hope the dealer helps you out.

PS Sonny also broke a rock guard it only costs about $9.00 from the dealer but I do wish I could find one a little more durable.

The rock guard is the front plastic piece on the stock bumper, it is kinda cheaply made on the Scram 50, not nearly as tough as the aftermarket ones they sell or that come with the larger models

If someone finds a source for a better heavier aftermarket one for the little scram 50 please let me know, or I would even posiibly pay to have one made if anyone is enterprising enough to want to tackle it.

I picked up a Scram 90 for my boys on Saturday and they absolutely love it. I'll have to look at the front rock guard and see how difficult it would be to make one. I work in a sheetmetal shop so I have all the resources available. The only thing I did change is the suspension settings on the shock springs. I softened them all the way. 2 clicks up seemed to be a little stiff and it made a world of difference.
