I'm installling my roller clutch this weekend, so my next project is going to be a pipe. Looking back through previous posts I'm getting mixed opinions on pipes for the 500. My first priority is power, but I would like something that looks good too and I don't mind rejetting if necessary. I'm considering RCR, HPD, AAEN, FMF, Supertrapp IDS2 and the White Bros. E series. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

 

You are going to love the roller clutch, I put one in mine two weeks ago with an aggressive clutch kit. I have the FMF MegaMax II, which I think is real sweet! It has more power throughout curve and you can really feel it come on in the low end. It looks great and sounds excellent and it costs around $190. power increase from an aftermarket pipe will be unoticable on a 500. not wanting to spend $200 for 3 more horse, i just drilled an 1 1/4 inch hole in the end of mine. workz great

 

Who did you buy the FMF from Steve?
