If you want to remove that front nose-piece rivet you can just drill it out and replace it with a small bolt & nut.

 

with a full arsonal of bolts and nuts at my disposale, and noticing that ther are some weird combos on my quad, screws, different size and type nuts, lol, im going to try to standardize them, if i take out that rivet, its ok to put a lithium greased nut and bolt with washers in there, right?
