I've tried bleeding the auxilary brake on my son's Scrambler. All to no avail. It doesn't pump up at all. Any ideas?

Thanks

You might have a plugged bleeder. Do you run with rubber caps on them. Possibly take it out and clean it.

Scrap it. Buy some new brake line, a 3 way, and tap it into the main line.

Scroll through the link in my sig to see what I'm talking about.

Or try riding with the bleeder open and let it bleed itself.

Hey Scott, when you say your son's scrambler, we are still talking a 400 or 500, not a 50 or 90 right?

I had the same problem. The foot brake developed no pressure at all, no matter how much I bled the brakes. I finally just replaced the foot brake unit and it works great now.

Thanks alot for all the replies. Yes Ken, Mr. Spoiled Rotten Golden Boy has a Scrambler 400X. Lol. I just replaced the master cylinder, and that helps the hand brakes. I'm going to try the vacuum bleeder pump, if that doesn't work I'll try replacing it I guess. Thanks.
