what is faster stock, a scrambler 400 2-stroke or a yamaha warrior? also how does the scrambler 400 compare to a 400ex in a drag race?

Well...I'm postive that the Scrambler 400 will beat a warrior, but in stock form, I think it would have a hard time beating a 400ex. I personally have beat some scramblers on the dunes, and on the trails. But if you put a pipe, reeds, and clutch mods on that Polaris, it can turn into a very fast machine for how much it weighs. Plus the Honda and Yamaha boys never want to have to go home and tell their buddies that they got beat by a polaris. I guess it just depends on how much money you want to spend, and whether or not you'd like an automatic transimission.

A Warrior would loose to a stock 400. I appreciate Chads reply on the EX too. It's looks pretty dead on.

I also know for a fact a Stock 400 Scrambler will eat a Yamaha Warrior up.
As for an 400EX ,in stock form the EX will win. I raced several at Silver Lake this past summer. I could get a better Hole shot of the line (4x4). But they would pull at least a bike length on me by the end of the race area, I do not know how far it was. I imagine a 4x2 would be a closer battle. I just put a HOT SEAT pipe and clutch kit on, so I will be eager to see how it performs when we go at the end of May. I think I will be able to beat them??????? A friend of mine has a 400 4x2 with a complete HOT SEAT speed kit and he can easily beat a 400ex in a Drag. |
