I own a 93 Polaris trailblazer 2x4. I've driven the hell out of this thing for years without any problems whatsoever. But recently, out of nowhere, the thing just stopped sparking. This is a very frustrating problem. Right now it is sitting in my garage, rotting away, just because it won't spark!

Here's the down low...

I have tried replacing the CDI ignition module, the coil, the spark plug cable, and the rotor magnets with no resolve (pretty much the entire ignition system)

If anyone here has any ideas what else could be causing my quad not to fire up, PLEASE drop me a line. My email address is trent@liteweb.net.

Any help will be greatly**** appreciated.

Thank you for your time!!

Im not at all familiar with Trailblazers so im just wondering if it has a kill/deadman switch somewhere on it? If it does its possible that the wiring harness or the switch itself is bad. Seeing as youve replaced essentially the entire ignition system the problem must be somewhere else. I know on my AC if i bump the kill switch all the lights work etc it just wont turn over, which results in a really dumb feeling when i realize why it wouldnt start LOL

I think your primary (source ) coil is out . It is the most common electronic failure . $42 will fix it .

I wish I had the part number with me , I would post it .

The same thing happend on my TB one minute it was running then i hit a big water hole then it shut off and lost all of it's spark It turned out to be the wire for the kill switch got wet and it wouldn't get spark. Just try to unplug the wire and see if that gives you spark if it does then i would say that it's either the wire just got wet or the switch is bad.
