Owning a 2 stroker quad and sometimes trail riding one day in excess of 100 miles,I will need extra fuel.Does anyone know where I can purchase a metal holder that bolts to your rear rack and will hold a 5 gallon plastic gas can?[I dont want the stackable fuel packs either]I have seen them advertised before.I have looked all over the Internet,I cant seem to remember where I seen them at.ANYBODY?Thanks====BILL

www.cabelas.com
or
1-800-237-4444

Part number HK-51-2744-404 5 GAL. CARRIER

Part number HK-51-2744-406 5 GAL. CONTAINER $9.99

I think that these containers are made to fit these racks. I don't know for sure either way whether these racks will fit any five gallon container, or just these.

I don't know if you went to their website, but they have a picture of them on it. I don't know how to include the link here, so I'll tell you.

I find a 5 gallon is heavy and takes a lot of room I used a 2.5 gallon for long rides and can safely go 120 miles.

Hey Bill, the el cheapo method, rubber bungee straps are cheap, so strap a can or two to the rack, and no need for extra racking or weight.

Tim and Swac,I appreciate your thoughtfulness. However,Im sometimes on the trail for days at a time, and therefore need all the rack space I can get,so the rear 5 gallon holder is the ticket for me.I have done the bungie cord thing tied to the rear rack before to.But I really need my rack space.I have a large storage box that I put on the rear rack when trail riding for days.----BILL
