elBONGOS-"Will the Suzuki Vinson 500 outrun a SP500HO?"

The fact that polaris's weigh alot might be contributed to the cost of making it lighter. To make their quads light, polaris would have to start puting alot of aluminum on it, which costs money. It is also alot easier to design quads when you are not constantly trying to shave weight off of every part. I may be wrong, this is just what I think.

I have a Magnum 325 4x4 and was clearing heavy brush and pushing dirt yesterday. Boy am I glad it is a heavyweight for its size. I can't wait to see how it pushes snow.

Polaris wasnt into the race machines so they didnt need the light weight designs. Their 4by's have been the best on the market since they came out. I dont mind the weight of my Scrambler except when i flip it. That thing is hard to get over when its on its side. The new Pred is much lighter than any other polaris model. Although according to some magazines it is still over weight. My heavy polaris does everything and anything i need it to do.
