Has anyone considered putting a 400L engine in a trailblazer? I just picked up a brand new 2000 Trailblazer for my wife this last week and was thinking that if it had the power of my Scrambler 400 it would really be a very powerful yet light and easy to control machine. What do you guys think?

It would probably be more trouble then it is worth. The two machines have the same frame. And the only difference between them is the engine and a few other parts. Once you put the engine, cooling system, and any other parts you need with the 400 engine, you would have almost the same exact bike. Weight and all.

After all the B-S and the money you would have wished you had bought a 400. The suspension isn't as good and the ride height is lower also. Then again it depends on what you wnat to do with it.

I think that it would be alot easier to
mod your 250tb out with performance upgrades.
That way you have the weight of a TB and ALMOST
the performance of a stock 400.
