I see Rath Racing has more products on the website for the predator now!! Go Rath. I see they offer their own design of nerf bars for around $180. Just wondered what some of you think about the craftmanship and design from the picture listed? www. rathracing.com. The radiator scoops look pretty sweet too, a good way to protect that coolant resevoir and inhale more of the O2 throught the radiator!!

But hey guys, pudljumper just went from a 37 to a 38 tooth rear sprocket and replaced the stock filter with a K&N unit. Picked up more get-up-and-go but the Raptor still beat it. He did lose some top-end speed but is happy with the lower gearing. Makes second and thrid more useable. More low-end power now (Raptor like?).

I still have stock gearing, and a 01 Raptor can't get by me. Hum, must be in the rider. This was shooting down a river, so basically straight line running.

 

When I had stock gearing, I was dead even with adamnieman's 03 raptor for accel and top speed, but now I put on a 38T rear sprocket. I have a hard charge in 3rd gear for a comeback, but 1st and 2nd I hit the rev limiter so quick that I can't hardly shift quick enough. He also commented that he thought it sounded like I was hitting my limiter in 5th?!? It would be nice if someone came out with a different rev limiter for the pred!

I bet your running the w/b pipe, put a tacho on and you'll see its not the rev limiter, it's your exhaust / jet set up. Read my popping post.

Sorry aussie quad, not the case. I still have factory exhaust, no W/B as of yet. It's just plain hitting the limiter!!
