that motor might be pushing 100hp with a good port job and pipes..

you must have it very low geared?

I to am doing a similar project.. i can get a 03 proX 600 motor for 200$... brand new juss pulled it out of the new sled. ... i wanna put it in a go kart but i need some help making/buying the frame.. want to use it for offroad not like a street go kart.. if any one could help me that woul dbe great!

 

one of my buddies dropped a articat 440 in his homemade gocart and i rode in it, one thing that you might want to do is put a heavy weight as of a pole filled with lead in the front or you will go out of control from a wheelie or you wont have any taction when at high speeds. the top speed we had it up to was 115 next to my truck and ill tell you my truck couldnt keep up with it.

 

hein??cpcpatriot, your current 800cc sled can do only 85 mph??? is the carb full opening or what? they're some major problems on that sled...

 

Can anyone help me out on a place to buy just a go kart frame or a website that will show me how to design one.. ive got a welder adn i can use it juss dont know what kind of things i need?

1500 PSI eh? I was just gonna ask when someone was going to put in a full race 1000cc or something making an honest 250hp....boy would that be a blast! I know it is on my Pro Stock sled vs something with much better drivetrain efficiency!!!
