The thumb throttle is the go button.

You're talking about the anti-go pedal..........when forward or backward un-momentum is desired, always depress the anti-go pedal.

It is the emergency rear brake. If your handlever brake system fails this one will work on only the rear brake to get you back as it is a seperate system (to the caliper).

BigHank,

In Newfoundland we differentiate between “stun” and “stupid”. If somebody is “stun” they have temporarily lost their ability to think and deduce conclusions from simple, otherwise obvious stimuli. Almost everybody becomes stun at some time – some people quite regularly. You don’t need a blow to the head or a fall from an Xplorer to become stun, it just seems to happen every now and then. Usually you can “snap’ out of it by lifting your baseball cap and scratching the back of your head using one hand.

“Stupid”, on the other hand is a much more serious condition. Unlike “stun”, which applies to everything in general, “stupid” is much more specific. You can be stupid in one area but quite normal in another. The trick is to not reveal your stupidity by asking asinine questions or hurting yourself, or someone else, through foolish actions. Most people easily recognize areas where they are stupid and simply avoid them. For example “machine” stupid people are usually smart enough to not operate, own or stand near an ATV.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and guess you fell off your Xplorer, then stumbled (having been “stunned”) to the computer and asked the forum what the brake pedal was for. Hope you wear a baseball cap.

Ebel
