Hey David, you have to pull the secondary clutch off. No big deal, just remove the bolt and it should slide off without a puller. At least all of mine I've ever owned have. Remove the snap ring and ease the helix off noting which holes the spring is at on both ends. There are spacer washers between the 2 clutch halves. Removing them will tighten up the clutch a little bit. You must always leave at least one shim in place. Usually removing one will do the trick. If it takes more than that I would change the belt. Put it back together and push the helix down just a little bit. Turn the back (or top in this case) sheave 1/3 of a turn to preload the spring before pushing all the way down and putting the ring back on. I'll let someone else tell the way of checking the belt deflection, I am headed off to work.LOL Bubba
