My brother is only 15 and he bought a 660r Raptor, and its not too much machie for him because it all comes down to experience, if you ever go to local tracks you see 8 year old kids that have great talent but are held back by small cc engines, but i can understand whay the tracks do that

C. I was 11 when I got my 300, now I'm 14, and now I want more! I started riding an '87 kawi mojave when I was 8 (it has been my dads sense '88, and we still have it).

When I was 14 I was 5' 9" and had a 1995 XR200 and a 1995 CR250. At 15 I had an XR600R yet when I went to the dealerships to find out about the 400 ex they said I could only ride a 90. Bogus. |

(Frank is right though! There can't be a general law for everyone to follow!) (Ok, old thread http://www.rocketryforum.com/images/smilies/woot.gif  ) |
Whatever size the individual thinks his/her child can handle.

c because their not even that fast and most smaller ones like that have adjustable throttle alowance so u can adjust how fast you want themto go.
|
I would say a 350cc would be a good size
|
Out of those choices, defiantly C. I am actually only 13 years old and i have a 350cc right now and looking to upgrade. I haven't been riding very long and I go full throttle on a 3500cc, I'm sure other people could handle a 250 (unless there complete trash at riding)
|
Some places you can only ride what the government says you can ride at each age but I stand by what I said earlier. There really isn't a single size that fit's everyone 12-16.
