Favorite so far was a small diner in So. Maine that had pancakes the size of dinner plates.

irinman2424 03-04-2012 04:10 PM

I typically do a breakfast bowl over the campfire when out fry up some bacon (chopped up into bits) add taters small dice cook them till almost browned all around add onions green peppers eggs scrambled when put on plate add some shredded cheese very filling good for you and cheaper than eating out

Seeming Im always on the go and eat on the run I voted McDonalds. My quad has been towed through the McDonalds drive thru on the trailer more than once. My favorite breakfast is when I go ice fishing and we scramble up some eggs and have it with venison or snow geese.

Don't usually have breakfast except on Saturdays, or if we're on vacation. Usually just a cup or two of coffee. Saturday, by the time everyone else wakes up and they get breakfast fixed, it's closer to lunch IMO.

Rarely do we eat out for breakfast.

We have a local chain called Tudors. That is my preferred place to eat. The have a biscuit called a Rocket. Its steak, hash brown, egg and a slice of cheese. Its huge, and really fills me up, and tastes great.

TacticalRedneckofKentucky 03-06-2012 04:26 PM

tudors?

before I bought my trailer I put my quad in the back of my truck (2001 dodge dakota) and have been asked several times through drive ins how I got it in there LOL

Huddle House breakfast anytime with country ham.

user493 03-21-2013 02:20 PM

On the rare occasions I get breakfast to go I nearly always get a sausage egg mcmuffin or 2.

Airb 03-21-2013 04:13 PM

Come on, McDonalds? Really? That stuff makes me *@&# my pants.

Teela 03-21-2013 08:59 PM

Dairy Queen doesn't serve breakfast. You sure?

mudmike 03-22-2013 12:36 AM

Had to vote Mcdonald's I cannot choke down hardly anything on their lunch/dinner menu but breakfast is a different story. I mean c'mon the McGriddle is a pancake sandwich with maple syrup flavor already in it.

I guess their breakfast is alright. It also depends where you get it. I have good food from places and bad from others. Their breakfast sandwiches are ok. Most of their food makes me wanna throw up, followed by me on my toilet begging for mercy from my creator.:(

for on the go mornings...wrapped in a flour tortilla.

DuneDragin 03-22-2013 12:44 PM

Warfield truck stop has an awesome huge Pecan Cinnamon Sweet Roll the size of a dinner plate! yummy!
Truck stops not in the poll list?
I'd also eat a couple of fried chicken leggs from the Truck Stop.
a poll without "none of the above" option?
Guess breakfast in bed would be a whole nutter subject, huh?
chicken leg crumbs in bed.....you betcha!!!
(but they better be my crumbs!!!)

Breakfast.... 3 large cups of coffee or 1 large with a espresso shot and a med. Also have to have either 2 doughnuts or 2 bananas.
The only thing McDonald's is good for is cleaning out the system.

You left out your prerequisite 5 gallon bottle of 5 Hour Energy. Jgar just uses rocket fuel. No solids allowed.

A Bloody Mary would be good with the camp egg scramble...saving the beer for after 10 a.m. ;)

We are a diverse group with FOOD in common. We schould get the "cookies" and the "foodies" together in one ongoing thread where we share everything from our regional favorites, wild game, cookout, family/friend feasts, BBQ, grilling, side dishes for community gatherings, to competition cooking.
Maybe some healthy choices and favorite meals from the areas where we go riding.
Maybe you'd like to share mom's best meatlof recipe?

DuneDragin 03-24-2013 03:47 PM

now let's be clear about the bloody mary mornings...cookie has one before breakfast prep...one while cooking...another with breakfast....because a sixer will be gone between 10 and lunch break. ;)
lunch break= ice down a 30 pack

DuneDragin 03-24-2013 04:05 PM
