Cool 400ex vs. banshee drag race resutls!

So I posted a bulletin the other day of how to beat a banshee and here is what happened. We had a 100ft race in a long dirt field. When we started off I actually accelerated faster than the banshee. For the first 40 or 50 feet we were next to each other. Then during the 60 - 80 feet he pulled away about 2 feet. And at the end of the race he ended up beating me by about 4 1/2 to 4 feet. Not to bad for a stock 400ex vs. a stock banshee. Thank you guys for the help!

That is the same experience I've had. I was in a huge debate last week because some ppl basically said I was retarded for saying a piped 400EX would smoke a stock banshee. Stock 'shee's are not impressive.

stock shees are terrible, thats why i did work to mine. Sence then i have put about $450 into mine ($300 for pistons and boring, and $150 for a set of used bills pipes) I ported mine out myself with my dremel. There is a new stator and CDI in it because be got it broke, and had to replace both. Here is the race result of me, a stock 660, and a 260r with drag porting, LRD pipe, bigger carb.

nice, short drags like that usually the 4 strokes will win, 4 strokes put power to the ground alot smoother, 2 strokes spin like crazy, try it on a 300ft and the banshee will prolly get a few lengths on you, at 300 ft youll need quite a bit of mods to stay with even a stock shee.

this is kinda off topic, but when you flipped your front rims on the warrior, did you flip the outside valve stems inside out, then add valve stems to the inside of the rim. or did you remove the front breaks?

When I had my warrior some years back, i took off the front calipers. I think I am going to do the same thing you did with yours to my shee.
