Default scrap or keep

hello... i loaned my beloved 2003 polaris 250 trailblazer to my rebellious step nephew. a year later i found it sitting in the woods with no sparkplug in it and full of water... yes the topend and crankcase is full of water. piston has a crack in it and cylander is a lil scarred... i can buy a new piston... i got a hone for the topend but how do i fix the lower endcrankcase.

Sitting with water in it.. Wouldn't trust any bottom end. You'll need a rod kit.WSM Polaris 250 Connecting Rod Kit ATV 45-300 | eBay Crank bearings and seals.Polaris Trail Blazer 250, 1999-2006, Crankshaft Bearings & Seals - Crank Shaft | eBay And someone to bore the cylinder and install the rod kit and true the crank shaft.
Plus don't loan anything to relatives or friends again. Friends you can pick and choose, relatives you're stuck with..
