Default Getting exact model number for 1985 Quadrunner

Hello again! I'm having different troubles today. Small but annoying. I have a 1985 Quadrunner 250 that I'm getting nice and fixed up for my son, and I'm 90% sure I have to put a one way bearing in it. It's coming out of gear and losing all engine braking while coasting down hills and when I shut the engine off you can clearly hear a winding down noise for a good 5-10 seconds.

My issue is, yet again, I'm trying to decode the vin to get the right part that I need. The VIN is JSAAJ41A5F2126751. I rechecked it on the frame rail hundred times. I know it's a 1985 Quadrunner , but is it a LT250E, or LT250EF, or one of the other models I may not know about? I just want to get the right part cause I hate sending things back! Thanks for the help!

Well..when I look for parts for 1985...the only 250 other than the "R" is the LT250EF...

What site are you seeing 2 models listed? I'm looking at Partzilla...

But what's the difference between the R and the EF? I just don't want to get the wrong parts.

EDIT: Looking at just photos, it appears that mine is the 250EF. The exact same orange body is all I see popping up with the 250 on the side of the seat. I guess my answer is there.

So, not to be a pain, but to fix my problem I'd be getting part number 7 on this diagram, right? I'm hoping so, cause there's a current ebay listing where I can get it for 70 bucks new. Suzuki ATV Parts 1985 LT250EF CLUTCH Diagram

I wouldn't know if that was your issue or not, but I do believe you are looking at the correct part fiche for your machine...

Just updating here. I got the one way bearing in the mail and I put it on yesterday, along with a fresh oil change. Everything is good to go! Problem solved! It goes down hills much better now.

So I notice that your VIN is almost the same as mine. How did you come to the conclusion that yours is a LT250EF?
my VIN is JSAAJ41A0F2124812. The only real difference on our numbers is yours has a 5 before the F and mine has a 0.
I am trying to find out my model.
