Default Ride 2

These pics are from our 2nd ride, get to go out again tomorrow, it sprinkled a little tonight hope it rains more to clear up all the smoke from the forest fires to give a great view of the mountains we're going to be in.

Kymco,
We are in South West Montana Bozeman Area. We went out again today to the same area. Took some friends and their grand kids, took a couple of spur loops off of the trail we rode in the pics above, found some wild raspberry bushes. Rode a total of 54.73 miles according to our friends Garmin, we never know how far we've ridden as our Ranchers don't have odometers on them so we just make an educated guess using the forest service maps. Was a great day, it had rained up there over night so the trails actually had some mud puddles and some standing water, didn't start getting dry and dusty until around 1'oclock this afternoon. Was just a leisurely day not in a hurry got home around 7:00 this evening.

Great pics again. I like the looks of that area.

It's always nice to find wild berries when you ride. We went riding in the first half of July and I found the mother lode of blueberries in a place we've all been before but never knew there were any berries there. Normally they don't ripen until after our 4th of July vacation when everyone's at home, but these were on the side of a hill facing the sun and were already ripe.

Looks like another great time.

When we pick wild berries out on rides in NH, and ME this is what usually happens.

I eat berries by the handful and when I've had enough I quit picking. I never take any back with me. An early ATV riding experience taught me a lesson about fresh fruit. I had a couple of bananas on one ride that didn't hold up very well. Canned fruit is another story. When 2 friends and I went on a trip where we camped out 2 nights we took some canned fruit and didn't have any problems.
