Exclamation Taking off crankcase cover on Suzuki Ozark 250

I have a 2004 Suzuki Ozark 250. I was changing the oil and while doing it I broke the long bolt holding the oil filter/ crankcase over on. Before taking the cover off is there anything I need to know or be careful of? It looks like I have to take the clutch cover bolts off and then the surrounding crankcase cover bolts off. I ordered the new bolt and a new gasket. I have a bolt/screw remover kit. Does anyone know the lb feet of torque the bolts should be put on with? Hope I can get an answer to this. Thanks

Manuals have a generalized chart on bolt toque by size. 6mm low strength bolts usually around 5-7 foot pounds.

The manual does say 7ft lbs just looked it up. Is there anything I need to be careful or aware of when taking it off?

Just pay attention to the way the filter fits.https://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oemp...226d6/oil-pump

Do I need to take the Clutch adjustment bolts off to take off the crankcase cover?

Not quite understanding.. Just the cover for the filter? No you don't. Better than to rely on a good manual rather than me on a Suzuki.https://www.tradebit.com/filedetail....2-2014-lt-f250
