So I purchased this quad brought it home worked great started Everytime without any problems. It sat for a couple of days then all of the sudden nothing. Bout a new spark plugs for it and it fired right up. Went to take it for a ride and forgot to turn fuel on...(stupid I know..lol) tried to start the damn thing again and nothing. Took out plug to check for spark and now there is no spark. Doesn't make sense to me. Seems like apples and oranges, don't understand why that would happen after just basically running it out of fuel. Hoping someone on here can lead me in the right direction of fixing this thing. Are you sure it's spark? You ran out of gas, was thinking, that you might have to check, the carburetor is full of gas, no air lock. Download a service manual from CountryCat.com. Troubleshooting pages may give you some good advice. May have a test procedure for the stator, voltage regulator.

 

I will check carburetor, but I should still have spark though when I test the plug right?
