Sportsman 700 Lift & Axel Troubles
I have a 2004 Sportsman 700 with a 2” lift and 30” Siverback Tires. There is not a lot of clearance in the front tires so any travel in the front suspension tends to rub the fenders. I added a 2 “ lift spacer to the top of the front struts which solved my clearance problem. As soon as I drove it, both front outer CV boots ripped and the right front axel pulled out of the outer CV joint. If I want to leave my current set up, do I need longer axels? Custom CV boots?

I just checked Gorilla Axle and they have standard length axles, and axles for their 6" and 10" lifts. Nothing for a 2" lift, which shouldn't even need longer axles. Maybe it's because of the way you lifted it without a lift kit? They say their axles can handle steeper angles if that's the problem. High Lifter doesn't even make front axles for it.
