Default Back brake panel

Question is, the back brake panel on an 04 Forman 450, is it the same as a 05 Rubicon 500?

Reason for the ask.

Wheel bearings are shot on that side. Changed the brakes in April of 2017 and put anti seize on everything when reassembling. Brakes worked very little for about two weeks than gone completely. I figured drum was worn, I do not use the bike for aggressive trail riding, it is more of a mule and left it. When the bearing went and stripping apart I am thinking the anti seaze must have been job weld as everything is seized. Used a gear pulley and gor the drum off but the brake panel will not budge more than a half inch. Long story short it is in pieces now which is not the end Of the world as I was deleting the back brakes anyway.

Here is the reason for the ask, new brake panel is $400. I have found a 450 panel for sale $100and could use the savings.

Too late now but I often find drums stuck and take the LH hub off, the axle can then be pulled out complete with drum and backplate, to be pressed apart on a hydraulic press. Not sure if the backplates are the same on the 450, check the on-line parts books to see if the numbers are the same, but Honda have a nasty habit of giving the same part a new number when fitted to a different model.

Thanks merryman, when I look at the part numbers they begin with same same 5numbers but end in a different 6. Example 43010-hau-681 and 43010-hn2-000. What makes me think they are the same is the bearings that are used are the same. My primary focus is the bearing housing which I do not think I can save.

Looked at buying a caliber upgrade but the price was $680 Canadian, there is another for $340 but out of stock and the manufacturer does to expect to have any for another month. Same distributor in the US and Canada so it may mean months before I could have it and wood season is apon us.
