Suzuki Eiger back fires through carb
I have a 2005 Suzuki Eiger it has started to back fire through the carb. I have cleaned the entire fuel system, fuel tank, peacock, and carb. It starts fine ideals fine but when I try to increase the engine rooms it will hesitate, sometimes shut down, and then begin to back fire through the carb. After it has warmed up the problem does not seem to be as bad. Could this be a valve adjustment issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is worth setting the valve clearance, just in case that is out. However it seems a lot like a weak mixture due to dirt in the carb. They do run weak anyway, and need choke for a while, even in Summer. Some people report that an early sign of the flywheel magnets letting go is poor running. I don't know, as when I get them to fix, the magnets have broken up and the engine no longer runs.
