1998 Honda recon slight bog problem
I have a 1998 Honda recon foot shift and when you snap the throttle real quick, it has a slight hesitation and if you snap it and hold it, most of the time, it will die, other times it will rev up after the bog, baffles are wore out in the exhaust

no carb mods
no motor mods
no air box mods
all stock
looking for some insight, thought maybe rejetting but don’t know what size to go with, lmk what you all think.

Fit a new plug. Could be wear in the carb, or just dirt. I would give it a clean and see if that fixes it. If not, new standard jets or a new carb may. However I did once have this problem on a 300, and fitting a used carb off another bike didn't fix it. In desperation I fitted a new CDI, instant cure, bike ran fine afterwards.
