Default Jerky lt80

Hi all. I have an early (1987ish??) LT80. Was a bit of a nail when I bought it but it was cheap! Got it running fine now but there’s another problem. When you pull away the quad seems to jerk a lot. I’ve researched the fault but found no answers so please could someone advise me! I’ve took apart the front clutch, all seems well there (no rust, rollers moving fine and greased up) except for a washer sitting next to the spacer wearing a grove in the belt. The rear clutch is also in good condition. Any suggestions as to what’s causing the jerking when accelerating?

thanks very much!

Not as stupid as I. I went to the dunes with my kids. The boy says :something is slipping". Almost bald front sprocket. Glamis out in BFE is not the place to have that happen. DOH! lol

Sounds like what happened to me this week! Same spot, same situation.
LT80, what sprockets to you recommend for dunes, like Glamis? That's pretty much what we ride exclusively. Any tips on where to shop?
