Cylinder O’ring omitted

Default Cylinder O’ring omitted

I forgot to install the o’ring on the sleeve when doing top end ! Almost completed and noticed it ! New cylinder , piston and rings . Should I tear it back down and install ? Thanks[...]

It is there for a reason, when you start cutting corners it will cost you more in the long run. It took me a long time to realize that you need to do things right rhe first time or keep doing it over until it is right.

Absolutely or you will be spewing oil out all over. If you have torqued your head down you will want to get a new head gasket too.
