I purchased my first ATV (04 Honda Foreman 450es) and apparently was lied to by the seller. Anyway, after spending far too much on replacing nearly everything on it and having the engine rebuilt. Now when trying to use electric start, it just free spins......like it doesn't have any gears in it.
I removed the starter and stuck my finger in and can freely spin the gears.......
The "rebuilder" said it is a bad bearing? I don't think that's an accurate diagnosis.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
