guys im 15 with an R .... I hear all this talk bout all these new sports quads ... all my friends have them,(Z400, Raptor, 400ex) and they cant keep up with me ......they are all asking for tips and stuff, crazy thing is that my quad is stock beides a silencer and a over .40 bore Who in here has a 250R????????? and tell me how you doing on it!!!

My dad said I can get the new YZF450 or I found a R that is 330 heavly modded for racing ... R all the way!!!!!!!!!

no they still make them today at $14,000 stock but they stoped making them in 89 i think.

They stopped making R's im 1989 .... I got mine for $$2,800 and Its the best thing ive ever bought .... It rides better then a 400ex and can outrun anything I race!!!! I would sujjest getting a good used one and put a 38mm mukuni carb on that baby ........... noone will touch you, and theyll all be asking for tips HAHAHAHAHA take that 4 strokes .....

When u buy a new one look at the bearings and frame for any cracks or breaks in the frame

The 250r is and alway will be a great quad but the new four strokes are starting to more than hang with the two stroke, there revving almost as quick and the handling at least on the 400ex and z400 are great.

once U go to an R ... youll never go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea but im just saying .... it took them this long even to compete with the R ...... The R is getting shafted by HONDA!!!!!!!!! HONDA should come to there frekin senses and start making R's again .... thats what eveyone wants .... so throw us a freking bone!!!!!!!!!!! THEY STILL WONT BEAT THE 330R im getting

dude ... that 330R im getting is $$7,500.... lonestar everything... elka shocks .... polished motor .... lrd pipe ... 38 mukuni carb .... lonestar axle .... polished scoops ............. mxracer, hey man ... i havent seen any R's for that much man!!!! you can get a really tricked out one for about $$6,000 to 8,000
